Amy Williams (Wales)
An A to Z of Team Taylor
Amy Williams (Wales)
Born in 1993, Amy started playing bowls at the age of 11 after a friend asked her to start going to a junior session. Amy is a member of Newport IBC and was selected to play for the Wales Under 25 Team at the age of 14 and then the Senior Welsh Team at 16 (the youngest person to have been selected for the team). Amy currently works as a Data and Performance Analyst.
Amy has always played with Taylor Bowls and after starting with her Vector model (without grips), is now playing with her Taylor Aces with Pro Grip which have helped her move from leading to skipping the Welsh senior Team. Amy loves how they feel comfortable in her hand and the consistent line.
