Jamie-Lea Marshall (nee Winch) (Eng)

An A to Z of Team Taylor

Jamie-Lea Marshall (nee Winch) (Eng)

Born in 1990 in Northampton, England, Jamie-Lea started bowling at the age of 10 on the grass verge at the side of the local bowls club after being introduced by a neighbour. She made friends with the local junior section and started playing regularly. Her nickname is "Jay" and she is the only member of her family to play!

Jamie-Lea plays for Leicestershire, England and is a member of the Kingscroft Bowling Club.

Jamie-Lea quotes: "I love playing with Taylor Ace size 2H (with progrip) and have played with these for 7 years.  I like the fact you can play with these in any position on all British greens and the steady swing is ideal."

My funniest moment in bowls is copying friends' deliveries and having to guess who we think it is! In the bowling world I most admire Karen Murphy as she is one of the most famous female bowlers and opened the way for younger females.

My favourite film is "Fever Pitch". Me and my friends love watching this and singing along!
